Why we're building this

Cafés have hours of empty seats. Cities have people with nowhere good to work. Workibe is the small piece of software that introduces them.

The idea

Third-wave cafés pour their energy into the morning rush and the evening crowd. The middle of the day — roughly 2 to 6pm — is when the espresso machine idles and the seats go cold. Meanwhile a growing city of remote workers, freelancers and students hunt for a table with real wifi, a free outlet, and a bit of quiet.

Workibe lets a café sell exactly those hours, on exactly its own terms, and lets a worker book a genuine seat — hosted with a coffee, not charged for a chair. The café keeps control of its floor and a flat, honest commission is all we take.
